NEW PRICE - $3595!

Someone replying to the ad suggested it seemed pricey. After checking out the spreadsheet and adding
the big parts since Feb, they were correct.

I updated the price to $3595. My total dev cost, including tools, training, licensing, insurance, stands, gear unused materials, screwups/fried parts was $5550.

I am also willing to part out the LEDs and chargers which I can use for my next project if that entices anyone to step up.

Thankyou for documenting your whole experience. I am glad to have had the chance to read it. If you dont sell the whole bike or have trouble and end up breaking the bike, I'd be interested in motor - controller - sprocket and other misc parts (shipping the whole bike may be impractical to NZ)

Cheers

Totally Cool!

Could you convert any bike to electric? I would love to see a triumph speed triple as an EV.

Where would the new owner have this bike repaired when something breaks?

Is it an automatic tranny?

Excellent work!

Yes, convert anything with enough love and skill.

New owner would need to be "qualified" - ie, they need to know how to fix or get it fixed. The bike is stock accept for the engine. I am also willing to support the new owner within reason.

There is no tranny.

Spoke with James yesterday while our kids were playing soccer and he told me about your project. I dig it. Do you still have it or is it gone?

I still have the bike. It does not get ridden much and I am jammed with home projects at the moment, but I try to ride it once a week, still dig it too :)
